He surprised her, she figured he couldn’t swim and she’d be safe out here, but she miscalculated. She started swimming toward the ship’s ladder with great speed, but to her dismay it wasn’t fast enough.

He came up under her and pulled her under the water by her leg, just as he felt her fists hitting him. He quickly let go and they both popped to the surface. She tried to escape again, but he dragged her to his chest and kissed her full on the lips in front of everyone on the ships. Robert heard the shouts and cheers, even as she beat on his chest and kicked at him to free herself from his grip. Holding her was like trying to hold onto a fighting wildcat.

“Get your lousy hands off me you overbearing bossy man!” She demanded fiercely. Her temper lit with fire from her green eyes. How could he kiss her in front of everyone? He’d kissed her out of anger to teach her some stupid lesson. Isn’t that what he hollered to someone on the ship, that he was going to teach her a lesson? She knew he was deliberately trying to embarrass her in front of everyone, since he had as much threatened her earlier he would.

Robert’s grip on her tightened and he was thinking maybe he should teach her another lesson, since the first one was so enjoyable. His amusement deepened as she continued to struggle in her arms. He was unable to resist teasing her a little more. He whispered in a deep sexy voice into her hair, “If you don’t stop struggling, the crowd will demand that I teach you another lesson.”

She gasped then responded to his threat and didn’t move. Anna’s emerald green eyes leveled onto blue eyes, as she shot daggers into his.
